I saw your Huey at the latest Barton airshow. I
have been waiting around 30 years to see such a
beautiful machine up close and in action. In all
honesty I didn't think I would ever would get to
see one. I was truly in awe of it and could barely
contain my excitement even just seeing it across
the airfield. What you do keeping the Huey in
pristine working order and the memories and
thoughts attached to it is fantastic and most
commendable. To tell the truth I was a little star
struck by the machine and all of your very
friendly staff involved on the day. Thank you for
the time you took to talk to me and thank you for
making a dream come true. |

Living in Wesham, my husband and I have always
loved seeing the Huey flying over our house. We
are hopefully moving even closer to Wesham House
Farm with our son, so my husband and I commented
on how wonderful it will be for our son to watch
the helicopters taking off and landing from our
garden, which prompted us to 'google' Huey's. I
was amazed to find your website and find out the
history of the helicopters on our doorstep. Many
visitors have seen and commented on the Huey which
we assumed was someone's hobby so it's great now
to be able to tell them your story. Keep up the
good work and we look forward to seeing - and
hearing - your wonderful helicopters in the
future. |

Had a fantastic time watching the Huey and Loach
arrive and depart Llandudno and really enjoyed
chatting with Rob and other crew members. What you
have done with the Huey is amazing, the Vietnam
war isn't high in the English conscience but your
helicopter is making people aware that there were
a lot of sacrifices made. Can't wait for the next
hanger tour, thanks again for saving this rare and
enthralling aircraft. |

I served under Rob Tierney in the Ops Room at RAF
Odiham. I was a lowly young SAC and part of a team
that used to detatch to support the helicopter
field ops. I have memories of sharing a rather
cramped land rover traveling back from Germany
with various Huey parts that Rob had scrounged
from USAF bases in Germany. Happy days |
