Hearing on BBC Radio Lancashire that you were
having an open day really excited me as you
mentioned a HUEY. I have assisted the 192nd AHC
for years with their websites and always wanted to
see one in action. Having been made a honorary
veteran I called over with camera in hand.....
Got some great shots of you guys and have
shown them all to the vets on FB (Video too)The
friendly atmosphere really made my day and are now
looking forward to other events.
Thanks

We want to thank all the team for putting on the
best Hangar Open Day. How great to see the
Spitfire on display and to see two guest arrive in
their Gazelle helicopter. Then to see the Huey and
the Loch flying too, Superb. And a special
thank you to everyone for making this such a
friendly day out. |

Thought I would check in to see how 509 and the
crew was doing. Had the opportunity to fly twice
this year on the American Huey out of Peru
Indiana. Never pass up a chance to fly. The
129thAHC will mark 49 years this month entering
the Vietnam War in 1965. We of the 129th AHC
appreciate what you have done for 509 and the
129th Family. But, the names on the door of 509 is
a great tribute to our KIA'S. Thank you so much.
Always A Brother!!! Alex 129th 65-68 |
